desperate to access his local countryside, 6’6”, Paul found it impossible to source a suitable scooter that would accommodate him until the donation came from the UK’s oldest Armed Forces charity, SSAFA.

The capabilities of the award-winning Breeze were first highlighted to Paul in a clip from BBC TV’s Top Gear programme. During this episode, the Top Gear presenters competed against disabled army veterans, one on a TGA Breeze, in an extreme mobility scooter challenge on the Welsh Brecon Beacons. The Breeze managed to reach a steep summit first as it successfully tackling rocky paths and muddy slopes.
Paul explains: “I missed seeing the local wildlife such as deer and squirrels so much, I wanted my freedom back. Thank you so much SSAFA.”
