The award to TrustFord, the world’s largest dedicated Ford dealer group,
recognises the dedication of Malcolm Tutton and his team to the Motability
Scheme and through this to the members of our communities with
disabilities. Malcolm was presented with the award by Peter Wilson,
General Manager - Dealer Relations at MotabilityOperationsand Steve Hood,
Chairman and CEO of TrustFord.
TrustFord has more than 120
trained Motability specialists and, this year will supply more than 8,000
vehicles to customers with disabilities through its dedicated Motability centres.
Steve Hood, Chairman and CEO commented: “We
are very proud that Malcolm has achieved this special recognition from the
Motability Scheme.”
The Motability Scheme is a
unique, worry-free car leasing package including insurance, breakdown cover,
servicing, tyres and windscreen replacement. Disabled people who receive the
Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced
Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, the War
Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment can
exchange their weekly mobility payment, to lease a new car, scooter or powered
wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.

Operations recently attended the TrustFord Awards for Excellence to present the
first-ever Outstanding Achievement Award to Malcolm.

Motability Manager for TrustFord, proudly received the accolade for his
dedication to Motability on a day-to-day basis. Malcolm was also selected for
his support on the delivery of great customer service, raising disability
awareness and managing exceptional performance throughout the TrustFord
organisation.
Malcolm said: "I’m thrilled to have received this
award, and equally proud of my colleagues at TrustFord for continuing to
support this important initiative through exceptional customer service.”
