statistics published by holidaycottages.co.uk

One of the UK's leading holiday property lettings providers revealed they had seen a 15 per cent increase in solo traveller bookings this August compared to the same time last year.
It was also revealed that overall bookings this August had increased by 16 per cent year on year as Brits pass up holidays abroad in favour of 'Staycations' to enjoy the country's unseasonably warm weather.

James Morris, Managing Director holidaycottages.co.uk said: "With the rise in 'mindfulness' and digital detoxes as ways to combat the ever increasing buzz and stress of everyday life it should come as no surprise that growing numbers of people are seeking solitary cottage holidays where they can enjoy some peace and quiet on their own."
