Motability Scheme’s affordable scooters and powered wheelchairs means everyone can find a mobility solution to suit them.



The Scheme offers a choice of over 300 scooters and powered wheelchairs for those who wish to travel with independence, or those who require mobility assistance throughout the day.

The current price list, valid until the end of June, features a number of options across the ranges of both scooters and powered wheelchairs.

Scooter highlights on the current Motability Scheme price list include:
Small boot scooters (Class 2 up to 4mph and suitable for carrying less weight) – the Invacare Colibri 18 is available for a weekly rental of £13.95 and offers a maximum range of 13 miles
Medium mid-range scooters (Class 2 and Class 3 up to 6mph, some come with a greater weight capacity) – the KYMCO Super 4 ForU is a Class 2 scooter that can hold up to 127kg maximum capacity and is available for a weekly rental of £18.91
Large road-legal scooters (Class 3 – up to 8mph) – the Excel Galaxy 4 is a Class 3 scooter weighing just 132kg and is available for a weekly rental of £25.73

In addition, powered wheelchair options available on the Motability Scheme price list include:
Standard powered wheelchairs are fitted with standard seats and controls and are available throughout the Motability Scheme scooter and powered wheelchair dealer network although some models may vary – the Rascal P327 is a Class 2 powered wheelchair and can hold up to 136kg maximum capacity and is available for a weekly rental of £26.31
Standard Plus powered wheelchairs feature extra adaptations fitted as standard and these adaptations are included in the cost of the lease. Additional adaptations are available however these may be at an extra cost payable to your dealer – the Pride Quantum 600 Sport is a Class 3 powered wheelchair, weighing 115.5 kg and is available for a weekly rental of £40.05
